A financially transparent platform for selfless volunteers to uplift education sector via projects. All are warmly invited to hold hands
We are glad to inform that the first project of Kavigai Foundation: Chanakya 1.0 has been executed successfully on 07.10.2017 in Katkovalam Methodist Mission Tamil Mixed School, Point Pedro, Jaffna. Katkovalam M.M.T.M.S is an underprivileged mixed school of 350 students and 24 teachers with classes upto GCE O/L. The workshops were conducted seperately for teachers and students with the goal of providing the key knowledge in computer literacy to help teachers and students to use Microsoft Office for academic activities. Games were organised for the students as a part of interactive learning and they were rewarded with gifts. O/L past paper books for the compulsory subjects were donated for the school library. Books were purchased obtained with the funds raised through Kavigai Foundation at 35% discount from Astan Publications.
